Every time I try to upload photos I get a bunch of lame html jargon junk instead of the photo. This didn't used to happen. Can anyone enlighten me as to how to fix this? Anyone? Bueller? Thanks!

Coincidence?
So you may or may not have noticed our new blog background. I had decided it was time for a change. While perusing the plethora of available backgrounds this one caught my eye (if you know anything about my history with red and white polka dots this will not surprise you.) However, imagine my delight when I saw that the name of the background was Clara! Coincidence, I think not.
Oh, and I will blog for real once my computer decides to start letting me upload photos again...darn technology!

Holiday Adventures
We went to Nate's company Christmas party. It was a casino theme so we got to show off our mad poker and craps skills.

We spent Christmas in Boise. This is a shot of all the Great-grannkids on the Nelson side, and nobody's crying...it's a miracle!

Christmas morning in all its glory

Nate's favorite gift...the drill was a close second

Princess Ella with her matching baby...I can't wait until Clara's that age! (please ignore the fat cow in the background...)

4 generations!

The boys on their snow shoeing expedition

4 generations again!

Clara's favorite spot. We thought this was a funny shot because she is clearly too big for the sink. She didn't complain, just curled right up and got cozy.

Clara had her 4 month check-up yesterday. She measured in at 15 lbs. 12.5 oz., 27 inches long, adn 17.25 inches around the head. That's the 90th, upper 97th, and upper 97th percentiles respectively. The doctor said she's right on track with her milestones. We think she will roll over any day now. Some of her favorite things at this stage are laughing at daddy, chewing her fingers, holding and shaking her rattle, switching said rattle to the other hand, pulling her shirt or dress up over her face, playing peek a boo. It's amazing how fast she is learning and growing!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
I have always loved the Christmas season, but it seems like it is especially fun with a house to decorate and a sweet baby and hubby to spend it with. Most of these pictures are just to tease the grandparent's before we come visit...she's just too cute!

The above pictures were taken on Clara's 3 month birthday and I think they capture this age perfectly. Her latest tricks include:

Thanks to Andi and Spencer for hosting a beautiful and delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It was great to not have to travel but still get to spend the holiday with family. I made the pies. While I'm still perfecting the presentation, they sure were yummy!

We've had fun getting our home all decked out for the holidays. We have lots to be grateful for this holiday season. 2009 was a monumental year for us with a house and a baby. We are expecially grateful for the love of family and our knowledge of the Gospel. I love the feeling and pizzazz of the holidays, but I also love reflecting on the life of our Savior and all He has done for us. We are truly blessed!

Oh, and this was the only picture we took of my birthday festivities. Nate took me to PF Changs for dinner. They were having a big holiday spectacular at the mall where the restaurant was. There were ice sculptors, yummy food, live music, carriage rides, and fireworks! The next day we went to our friends' the Crocketts for dinner. It was great to have the day off, out of the kitchen for my birthday. 24 was a great year, but I think 25 will be even better!

Christmas came early this year
The decorations have been up for about 2 weeks and we are cutting a tree on Saturday, but the real treat is down below.

2 months old!
I'm a little late, but here it goes. I can't believe it's been 2 months already! At Clara's 2 month check-up here were her stats:
weight: 13 lbs. 2.5 oz. (97th percentile)
height: 25 in. (97th percentile)
head: 16.5 in. (97th percentile)
She is a big girl, and very proportional! Most of her 0-3 month clothes don't fit and in fact the outfit she's wearing right now is a 6 month size.
Some of her latest tricks:
-She is a very smiley girl. It really doesn't take much to get her smiling, but her daddy is best at it.
-she sleeps 6-7 hours in a stretch most nights
-she LOVES to ride in her stroller if she gets to face forward
-she tolerates her swing
-she was good for her first babysitter experience and she took a bottle
- she loves to sit in mommy's lap looking out at the world
-she loves music and will quiet down pretty quickly as soon as I start singing or turn on some music
-she is very good at lifting her head
-she does well during church (finally!) I know it won't last for long, but we're trying to enjoy it while it does.
-she loves to kick her legs and wave her arms (see pictures below)
-she makes lots of new noises and seems pretty focused like she's trying so hard to talk
-she loves to suck on her fists and it's pretty darn cute!

Help! Calling all Bloggers
My dad has started a blog for his lawfirm as a new marketing technique. He is hoping to draw traffic to it through google searches. Google places search results higher on the list depending on how many other sites link to it. This is where you all come in. Here is what we are asking:
1. put a link to his blog on your blog www.nelsonrozier.blogspot.com
2. comment on this blog letting me know you have done so (we are trying to track the effectiveness of this strategy.)
That's it. You can put the link on your blog list or side bar, wherever you'd like, as long as the link is there.
Thanks for your help!
Gotta love the Moses Action Figure
