Halloween Party

So Nate and I were recently put on the activities committee at church. Friday night was the annual Halloween party/chili cook-off and it was a smashing success. There were over 250 people in attendance. Our chili won "most original" I'm not really sure how meat, beans, tomatoes, onions, and seasonings is original, but I proudly accepted my golden spatula anyways. Here are some pictures...enjoy.

Get it? because I'm tired of explaining it.

Our angelic fairy...thank you Dollar Tree.

and this outfit was just too cute to not take a picture of.

This is how the little darling woke up this morning...life is good!

Twins?

We wore the same dress for our blessings. My Aunt Betty made this dress for me 25 years ago. Who looked cuter in it? I know my vote, but I'll let you decide.

Blessing Day!

3 Generations

All strapped in and ready to go!

Touchdown! Apparantly this is how she posed through the entire blessing, and through most of her life thusfar as a matter of fact. Maybe it comes from all the football we watched in our hospital room.

This is how the little angel sleeps every time. Notice the hand high in the air, yet still in the wrap.

First bath in the tub. She loves bath time, that is until it's over.

And big smiles for mommy this morning.

One month old!

Clara turned one month old on Saturday. I can hardly believe it's been a month already! She gets bigger and learns more every day. She has learned to really like her bouncer seat, she is a champion eater, she loves car rides, and she puts herself to sleep when we put her in her bed...it's fabulous! She makes eye contact all the time and has started smiling real smiles...and it's pretty darn cute! We sure love her a lot!
