For our whole marriage I have been telling Nate about this magical place called Family Camp. A place where there's never a shortage of food, fun, and dirt! We had talked about going several different years, but this was the year it happened, and it didn't disappoint!
This was within 5 minutes of arriving at camp. She received the "dirt eater" award later in the week. Go figure.
Playing in the water was almost as popular as playing in the dirt!
Gracie and I hanging out while Nate uncovered a geocache. He found 3 while up at camp. Add those to the 2 he found in Visalia and the 2 we've found in Boise so far and our geocache count is up to 7!
This was a daily activity and it was where she was happiest!
Campfire was a popular event each day. These 2 cuties are Clara's second cousins Elora and Hailey. Clara thought that everyone there was her cousin because most of them were!
Here is Gracie warming up her "squishy face" for the talent show.
Camp wore everyone out. Naps were a must.
Here were all the kids showing off their super hero capes on awards night. Our girls were the Super Hammock Girl and Super Dirt Eater.
Clara also got chosen as princess at that campfire and she was quite pleased about it.
The last day we went swimming at Shaver Lake. The water was pretty cold, but the girls didn't mind.
Carly was the best campfire director ever! And her little song and dance helpers were pretty cute too!
Our super-duper travelers on the long drive home. What a great week! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us steal half your slot at camp this year. We might just need a repeat next year!

So MUCH FUN! I really wish we could just magically appear and join you on all you adventures! I'm sure our girls would get along FABULOUSLY (at least as fabulously as little ones can). Hoo-Ray for good travelers!
Loved all of this. Great seeing some of my grandchildren here too. Not sure if you saw it but I have a great picture on my blog of Clara, Elora, and Hailey swimming in Shaver Lake....and Elora wrote about how much she loves Clara!
