This house! (Yes, it's pink, but Nate will tell you otherwise.) We LOVE it and are so excited to move in. Of course we have to wait to close first. Then it needs some cleaning, new carpet, and paint...but soon enough we will get to move in!
The pictures below are mostly for the benefit of the parental units. But if you'd like to take a peek inside, join us on our virtual home tour!
This is the master bathroom. There is a separate shower in front of the tub and a HUGE closet to the left.
Here's the laundry room. Notice the extra storage and the sink.
Here is the view of the living room from the kitchen.
This is the formal dining room just off the entry way.
Here's the view of the kitchen from the dining room, minus all the appliances.
The guest bathroom.
One of the extra bedrooms...they all look pretty much the same.
The view of the living room and eating area from the entry way.
The backyard. Hopefully there will be more color for the majority of the year...this was the day after a huge blizzard.
Not pictured is the full unfinished basement. Nate was sad I didn't take a picture of it, but I think you all know what a slab of cement looks like. It's not much to look at for now, but it has HUGE potential. And that's pretty much it. Please come visit us...we love guests!
Oh, and this is the sweet little thing we have been cuddling and playing with as much as possible!

Stuffing the ballot box
This is Nate. Let it be known that I asked Julie how many times she had voted on the baby poll. Her answer was "Oh, I don't know.....everytime it lets me do it, I vote again." Yes, that's correct. She's voted so many times that she can't even remember. She's stuffing the ballot box! Just thought I should make that known. Boys rule.

The Verdict is in...
Nick has been called to serve in the Argentina Neuquen mission! He leaves June 10! Congratulations Nick!
And the big winner of the prediction game is Becky and Hema with the guess of Sao Paolo Brazil. Surprisingly they were the only ones who guessed anywhere in South America. Congratulations! Give yourself a big pat on the back and go get a big bowl of ice cream from the freezer because you deserve it after winning such a close competition!

I Hope They Call Me On a Mission...
baby update
So this might sound more like a journal entry, but for those who requested, here's a pregnancy update. I hit 12 weeks last Sunday. The baby is due on August 30. It will be a long summer, especially since the doctor already said no travelling after the end of June!
I haven't been too sick, mostly EXHAUSTED! I have always been one who needs plenty of sleep, but we're talking 2 hour naps followed by 9-10 hours at night. That's pretty incredible even for me. I do get sick occasionally, but lucky for me it's always at night so I can still go to work without any problems. It is however unlucky for my sweet husband because he gets to witness all of the barfing/I don't want to eat time and hardly any of the "I feel great" time.
At the 1st doctor's appointment she said the heartbeat sounded very boyish. That made Nate happy, to say the least. However, at the next appointment she said it sounded more girlish. So I guess we get to keep waiting to know for sure. I hit 20 weeks April 12. We of course would be happy with a boy or a girl, but for now I refer to it as a she (JJ, Julie Jr.)and Nate refers to it as a he (Nate Jr.). We are just so excited to become parents! And feel so very blessed to have this precious baby entering our lives very soon!

It's about time!
That's what I'm guessing a lot of you are thinking. I've been a slacker on the posting, but here it goes...our Christmas in a nutshell!

Then we headed off to California. We flew into John Wayne Airport in Orange County. After a lost bag (that's a long story) and a trip to the Getty we made it home for the annual Rozier Christmas Eve party. I had the honor of directing the nativity, and it was pretty fantastic!

Santa spoiled us all on Christmas morning, especially this newly equipped all-sport star athlete!

We took a trip up to Bass Lake and did a little snow shoeing,

And hung out by the lake!

A long overdue night out with the girls was definitely a highlight! Janelle, Greer, Shayne, Kaitlin, and me. I love those girls! We hadn't all been together since high school!

Gotta love the Moses Action Figure
