6 months old!

Grace turned 6 months old yesterday. I can't believe it has been half a year already. It has flown by! She is seriously the sweetest baby ever!

 Clara loves her little sister. Like most 2-year-olds, she has a tough time with sharing, but not when it comes to her sister. I took this after Clara decided to get Gracie dressed up with a pretty necklace and bracelets.

 Grace started rice cereal last week, and she likes it!

 But let's face it, sometimes the bib is far more interesting.

 The weather was so gorgeous yesterday that we went out back for a little photo shoot.

 Gracie likes tummy time most of the time. She even took it upon herself to do tummy time this morning by rolling from her back to tummy...what a smart girl!

 Gracie is keeping up her over achiever status. At her doctor's appointment this morning she weighed in at 18 lbs. 13.5 oz (93 %) 27.75 in. long (98th %) and 17.75 in. around the head (97th %). She got 4 shots and was pretty sad about it, but she is much better now.

 This a typical look for her lately. She is always biting her lower lip! Gracie cut her first tooth yesterday, and it was a little rough. That, along with her first ear infection, and the fact that she's a growing girl, have led to a few rough nights around here. But we are lucky she is so sweet and cute during the day!

 Grace LOVES her sister! Clara can always make her laugh. And Grace loves to tease Clara! This is her grabbing Clara's hair during our little photo shoot. Yesterday I took Grace in to get kisses from Clara before Clara's nap. I lowered Grace down into the crib and while Clara was giving her kisses, Grace snatched Clara's sippy cup. The look on Grace's face was so priceless. She knew that she had done something clever!

 Grace loves toys! She kicks her legs like crazy and gets a really focused, excited look on her face if you hold something in front of her, Once she gets her paws on a toy, it always goes straight to the mouth!

 She is a smiley, content, mellow, baby. She has the sweetest disposition and is pretty easy to please. She naps almost every time we get in the car, which makes running errands so easy!

 Gracie is so close to sitting up, but she's still a little tipsy. She loves the bumbo, but usually gets stuck around the legs. She also loves her bouncer and exersaucer. She is a very loud baby. She is a squealer, a grunter, and a cooer, depending on her mood. She loves bath time and loves to be part of the action. If the rest of the family is in a different room, she will grunt until we bring her in. If she hears Clara close she will crane her neck until she finds her. Overall, she is  a sweet happy baby who shows more and more personality every day!  We love having her in our family!
